I definitely enjoy the middle top more on the back covers. I never have a problem focusing on the text even when it is over some colored or textured background. My only objection is items of the same value (if I am remembering the term correctly). One of my old jobs I had to scan covers and covert to black and white for a newsletter. Sometimes once they were greyscale, titles would just disappear into the background.

The middle book. I do think that many of us do not wear sleeveless apparel and the sleeveless sweater on the front should be paired with a sleeved sweater on the back.
